Why is charlie off breakout kings

Julianne gets a little, quote unquote, off, this season. And we find out why. We find out the genesis of why Julianne is the way she is. And Lloyd really tries to help her because she is getting to the point where she might lose her job. And in process of helping her, he falls in love with her.

Julianne and Lloyd forever! Side note: Why is it on any given show, no matter what kind of show it is, I automatically gravitate toward the possibly romantic story line? I may need to seek therapy of some kind. Everyone is all over the map and there are some really good theories. Some people feel like he might be involved with the guys that [Erica] killed to avenge her father.

What a tease. But we both agreed that the story arc is great for both the character of Erica Reed and the actress who plays her, Serinda Swan. It gives her a chance to be a girl.

Erica is kick ass, but she is also a woman and she is a mother and it is nice to see her display a little bit more of that side. But even when she is being girly — she is still a BAMF. Santora says it is because Ray Domenick Lombardozzi knows that because Erica has a kid, she has the most to lose and is probably the most trust worthy. Being a huge Prison Break fan, I had to ask if there were any familiar faces coming up this season.

The season kicked off with a dramatic twist — one king fell. Charlie Duchamp got killed by one of the fugitives, making the show take a huge leap forward. Ray Zancanelli got his badge back , and the Breakout Kings are going to hunt the killer. And probably some things will change on the team too. Losing him leaves a monster-sized hole.

A newly re-badged Ray is forced to step up and replace Charlie as the head of the group. This is going to be a work in progress. It makes sense. She can definitely be volatile, but that works to her advantage. She can handle herself with these violent criminals they are tasked with tracking down. She can also deal with all the different personalities of the group. Each individual member of the team is silently or not-so-silently grieving.

Ray decides to keep the grief counseling in house and has Lloyd do the honors. He tries to talk to everyone but they all have their walls up. They are reluctant to express their feelings. But I love that Lloyd finally takes it upon himself to tell everyone his thoughts and feelings. Nobody bothers to ask, so he shares.

Good for him. Plus, they have a little matter called Damien to contend with. We will see him again this season. How far will the group go to apprehend him?

Not only for the team, but for me too. Logically, I see why the show killed him off. Emotionally, I wonder why it had to be at the beginning of Season 2. I feel like the team was just hitting its stride. It would have been nice to see them gel a little bit more before taking him away. Marshal and promoted as the leader of the group. Later, his team tracks down and captures Damien who has Charlie's badge and is using it to pose as him to infiltrate people's houses.

During the "scavenger hunt" he set up for Ray's daughter, Damien manages to sneak into Charlie's house and plant a clue in his ashes without Charlie's widow ever noticing. As a result, Ray has to dig through the ashes, but says Charlie wouldn't have minded if he had to dump them all over the floor if it meant saving his daughter. After the team rescues Ray's daughter, they prepare to arrest Damien, recovering Charlie's badge from him, but when Damien taunts them about going through Charlie's ashes, Ray pushes him off a roof to his death, avenging Charlie.

Ray later returns Charlie's badge to his wife who is relieved Damien is dead and says she has to believe that God needed Charlie. Duchamp does not consider any criminals as honorable or trustworthy.

And at first he felt the same way about the criminal members of his team, and like Ray he only considered them as "Tools" to catch other cons. However as he continues to work with them, he learns to respect and trust for the cons he is working with.
